@theandreboso I think if ConvertKit use some of their drag and drop editor and have a monthly pricing structure, they’ll have two big features that will bring a lot of writers to them 120 2 1.67% 2 0 0 / 0 0 0
@monicalent Monthly vs Percentage is just a “feature” people will have to choose between. I think ConvertKit have a good chance to be a true competitor, but can they make newsletters stand out from their “email marketing” product 236 1 0.42% 0 1 0 / 0 0 0
@iiiitsandrea @substack It's hard to offer a second payment system once you're in deep with Stripe. There's no other provider with a similar set of features (payments, connected accouns, payouts) that you can run easily alongside it... 94 2 2.13% 1 0 0 / 0 0 1

@AlexCartaz I think we'll see shifts, especially as newsletter economics and the market settle down a bit. I've actually been sitting on an idea for your second point for a year now. There's a huge gap in the market there 135 6 4.44% 3 1 0 / 0 0 2

I'm just removing some of the early inactive users from https://t.co/NyZf1RS3K3, to reduce the load from the 30-minute calculations. Before I delete the data, here are the totals since July 30: 281,076 tweets tracked 487,801,475 impressions 113,561,097 engagements 1,093 users 2,522 22 0.87% 9 2 0 / 0 8 3

Also fun: this is a mid-2014 MacBook which can't get later than macOS 10.13. I can't even download the Twitter app. 2,032 7 0.34% 2 1 0 / 0 0 4
And I'm going to have to do this all over again when my computer comes back fixed in "2 to 3 weeks". 2,145 6 0.28% 3 1 0 / 0 0 2
When your computer breaks, it really sucks. I'm spending hours getting my stuff set up on my wife's computer. I'm having to reset *all* my passwords as well because I can't get back into LastPass (I don't have my master password). Really frustrating. Lesson learned: do backups. 3,987 24 0.60% 12 8 0 / 0 0 4
